Quality Inspector
??12 - ??13 per hour
Bristol
Day Shift
Mon to Thur 7:30 to 16:30
Fri 7:30 to 12:30

This privately owned SME, operating in the Aerospace & Defence sectors, has an impressive client portfolio and has grown consistently over the last 5 years. This year, they anticipate further expansion and are looking for a new Quality Inspector to join their team on the machine shop floor.
You will be using manual measuring equipment 80% of the time to inspect aerospace components to tight tolerances. Any experience with CMM inspection equipment would also be an advantage, but is not essential, as training can be provided on this for the right individual.
You must be able to read an engineering drawing and understand the specification requirements.
Experience of administrating a gauge recall system and working to FAIR requirements is highly desirable.
If you have completed an apprenticeship, you will have an advantage with your application, however semi-skilled applicants who are not time served will also be considered for this position. Experience within tool making, CNC machining (particularly milling), aerospace or oil & gas would also be highly advantageous.
After successful completion of a 3 month probationary period, you will be entitled to enter into the company's contribution pension scheme (3% / 3%) and private healthcare scheme.
Overtime is available at a rate of x 1??.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that is continually expanding within a thriving industry and so can offer a good level of job security.
An immediate start is available for the right candidate
