An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the most established and reputable food manufacturing companies in the UK for a Maintenance Engineer who will drive improvement through autonomous and planned maintenance, project implementation and corrective actions. You will need to have a versatile and flexible approach to maintain all plant and services.

As the Maintenance Engineer you'll ???.

??? Improve equipment reliability using system data to identify areas for improvement in conjunction with the Site Engineering Team.
??? Develop and maintain an integrated cheese packing operation to agreed Health and Safety, Technical & Engineering standards
??? Use your Maintenance Engineer experience to optimise line performance to meet and often exceed Key Performance Indicators in the areas of equipment reliability and efficiency
??? Carry out planned maintenance activities and suggests ways to improve them based on observations and history.
??? Routinely analyse line performance data and take appropriate action to improve performance.
??? Participate and lead continuous improvement and problem solving activities.
??? Develop systems to ensure correct operation of equipment and facilitates improving methods to manage processes (from changeovers to reaction plans)
??? Ensure appropriate information is captured on plant performance, maintenance activities to drive a predictive approach to tasks and to prevent equipment failures

You???.

You'll be educated to degree/equivalent level in an engineering discipline and have significant Maintenance Engineer experience within a blue chip food manufacturing / FMCG company with food qualifications (HACCP, Food Safety etc.).

You'll have undertaken a recognised apprenticeship with a proven track record of improving performance and reliability through continuous improvement
