Quality Inspector
Quality Inspector- A new and immediate vacancy has become available at a small but successful engineering company base in the South of Bristol. The company manufacture and supply plastics components to the Aerospace, MOD and Medical industries. The company are looking to take on a Quality Inspector to join their small Quality team.
They are looking for a Quality Inspector who ideally has experience working with plastics or injection moulding. If you do not have this experience you must have experience working as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. They are looking for candidates who have previously used inspection tools such as gauges, verniers and shadowgraphs. Along with this, experience with CMM will put you at an advantage.
Candidates need to show they have previously worked in a fast paced, high volume environment. Candidates must show they have worked to a minimum of ISO9001 quality standards but ideally be familiar with AS9100. They are interested in hard working candidates who are looking to learn and develop within a small but close nit environment.
Responsibilities:
- Using inspection tools- shadowgraphs, gauges, vernier and CMM
- Completing NCR and Calibration reports
- Inspecting to IS9001 and AS9100 quality standards
- Reading engineering drawings
- Working closely and reporting to the Quality Manager
