My client provide leading engineering services of bespoke systems to the aviation sector.
They seek a number of experienced Systems Engineer on a permanent basis to help move their business ever further forward.
The Role:
Interpretation of customer specifications and definition of systems architecture
Preparation of proposals and supporting documents
Hydraulic / Mechanical / Electrical Primary Flight Control Design, Performance Analysis and Computer based Dynamic Simulation
Planning, defining and preparing test documentation
Supporting test activities including trouble shooting test problems
Support to customers, which may include travel within UK and abroad
Previous experience required;
Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering
Strong aerospace background
Experience of working to D0178 standards, DOORS, and MATLAB
Knowledge of Primary Flight Control Actuation systems functional design
Experience with complex mechanical equipment
Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical equipment performance analysis with strong analytical skills and experience of computer based simulation techniques
Development experience in all aspects of integrated actuation systems (system architecture, actuation, verification, qualification and test)
Familiar with software such as MatLab, Mathcad, Excel and Word.
