You will be the Finance specialist for this UK subsidiary and have as much contact with the Group Finance Director as you will with the Operations Director. You will have opportunity to use your project accounting knowledge, develop your budgeting and forecasting skills and get involved in commercial bids for this high-tech engineering brand. The finance team are an essential ingredient in helping the organisation to deliver outstanding value and leading the way in redefining 'the best'.
We are searching for candidates who have the key Project Accountant skillsets of: preparing and challenging performance against contract, posting and reviewing of all revenue and cost journals (including payroll, accrued and deferred income and WIP), producing monthly balance sheet and comments, taking actions where appropriate and ensuring all financial procedures and controls are applied in line with Group policy.
You will be working with Sage X3 and specialist aviation MRO software but experience of any equivalent system will show your credentials as a top candidate.
You will be pro-active and energetic, keen to provide management reports, happy to work through all the operational and accounting transactions from goods receipts to commercial pricing proposals, and have a good level of expertise in Excel and Microsoft products such as Word. You want to get involved and be the "go to" Finance person for this evolving business.
