Asset Care & Maintenance Reliability Engineer required for our client who is a leading manufacturing company.

Job Purpose:

Lead site wide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of manufacturing and utility systems.

Drive the implementation of world class reliability practices in support of the manufacturing and utility units, resulting in Safe and efficient utilization of assets at optimum costs.

Major Accountability's:

Develop, monitor and refine an Asset Care and Reliability Plan that includes:
Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and eliminate inherent reliability problems.

Value-added preventive maintenance tasks using appropriate RCM strategies.

Develop, monitor and report relevant KPI's for continuous improvement of equipment performance including:

Asset Utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Remaining useful life

Other parameters that define operating condition, reliability and costs of assets

Ensure the reliability and maintainability of new, modified and existing assets using Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) approach.

Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues. To fulfill this responsibility the Asset Care and Reliability Engineer applies:

Data analysis techniques that can include:

Statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, Six Sigma (6??) Methodology, Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Supporting technical skill development by facilitating internal and external training on reliability and asset care to continuously improve skills across site.

Experience requirements:

Degree in relevant engineering discipline

Solid engineering and manufacturing experience, ideally gained in a fast paced manufacturing environment with knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Statutory Requirements.

Strong experience in Reliability and Condition Based Maintenance applications.

Strong analytical skills

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; fluent level of English.

Engineering competence, time management, diplomacy, assertiveness, and the ability to work under pressure are also essential. A positive and pro-active approach is needed to aid resolution of issues.
