Junior Test Engineer
An interesting position for a Junior Test Engineer has become available working with a globally renowned leading supplier of high-quality analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products.

As Junior Test Engineer you will be based in the Bristol office and reporting to the Test Manager.
You will be playing a key role supporting the Test Team in the delivery of high quality test results utilising 'best practice' methodologies in-line with quality management systems and requirements.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implementation of test solutions for new products including software, hardware and documentation
* Analyse and draft test standards and procedures
* Prepare documentation of test results
* Analyse test results to validate existing functionality and propose corrective actions
* Work with other engineers on problem resolution
* Perform routine tasks, such as updating statuses and attending team meetings
* Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with designers, product, validation, test and applications engineers
Key performance expectations:
* Effective support provided to the Test Team
* Produce good test results in line with quality management standards
* Well written, accurate and timely produced reports and updates, containing clearly presented results
* Good working relationships developed and maintained
Knowledge, skills and experience:

* Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar discipline
* Use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email systems
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team
* Ability to prepare technical documentation to support all activities
* Demonstrates a proactive approach with the ability to identify own solutions to problems
Additional information:
* Occasional travel may be required;
* Undertake such other comparable duties as may be required by the Team Manager or VP, Product, Test & Optical AE.
