Our clients are a leading nationwide Environmental Consultancy. Due to recent growth, they are currently looking for a qualified Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor to join their team in the South West covering Bristol and surrounding areas.
The main responsibilities of this position will be:
To conduct management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection surveys to HSG264 guidelines;
Completion of asbestos registers within documented guidelines and associated quality systems (UKAS ISO1720 and ISO1725).
Applicants must meet the following essential criteria:
-P402, P403 & P404 Qualifications or the equivalent RSPH certificates
-At least 2 years' analyst experience undertaking 4-stage clearances, leak, reassurance, background and personal monitoring within a UKAS accredited organisation
-Knowledge of all aspects of air monitoring and 4-stage clearance testing in line with HSG247/HSG248 guidelines
-Knowledge and practical experience of producing and issuing Certificates of Re-occupation where required
-Extensive knowledge of all Asbestos products, construction materials, use of buildings and fire protection methods
-Use of PDA/Tablets/computer equipment for the collection of data
-Excellent I.T skills
-CSCS Card
-Ability to work as part of a wider team as well as under own initiative whilst also supporting colleagues and senior managers as and when required
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-A willingness to demonstrate flexibility based on operational requirements of the business
-Full driving license
