Senior LFG Engine Tech, Bristol - ??30K - ??40K + Benefits

My client is one of the UK's leading user of landfill gas engines and they are currently looking to add a senior landfill gas engine technician to their team to cover the M4 corridor and Kent.

Reporting to the landfill gas operations manager you'll be responsible for the 'hands on' supervision of a team of landfill gas engine technicians to carry out the maintenance and repair of Caterpillar and Jenbacher gas powered - power generation sets throughout the Southern UK region in accordance to strict health & safety and environmental legislation.

To be considered for this position you'll need to be a time served mechanical technician with extensive experience of repairing and maintaining landfill gas engines. You'll also need to have sound knowledge of fault diagnosis and engine telemetry systems, along with a basic understanding of electrical principles.

Primarily, this is a Monday to Friday role with some out of hours / weekend call outs, so a flexible approach to your working pattern will be required.

A full UK driving license is essential as this is a multi-site role covering the East and West regions of Southern UK. A company vehicle is provided (for business use only).
