Morson International are currently recruiting for a Planning & Logistics Group Leader for a permanent position in the Bristol area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading manufacturing business. Our client has a significant order book and is working with cutting edge technologies.
Planning and MRP expertise are key to this role.
As Planning & Logistics Group Leader, you will be responsible for managing the performance of people and processes and facilitating all planning and logistics needs. Strong people leadership skills are needed to deliver against performance objectives focused on continuous improvement and people development within the business.
You will be accountable for performance indicators including:
* Quality
* Right First Time Delivery
* Inventory Scorecard and Delivery Schedule
* Delivery Schedule Achievement
* Environment Health and Safety
* Cost
* Return on Sales
We are looking for applicants that have previous experience in a planning role within a manufacturing environment, along with specific programme planning, capacity planning, MRP, MRP II and ERP technical expertise from both a theoretical and practical viewpoint. You will have quality systems awareness, effective communication skills, awareness of health & safety requirements as well as leadership/supervisory experience.
