The Role
Our client is looking to appoint a high calibre Information Security Consultant to help to ensure that security and compliance solutions meet business and regulatory requirements. Assistance with governance and compliance of the information security policy, standards, procedures, and guidelines to prevent the unauthorised use, modification, or destruction of data will be the main driver. You will be responsible for the Cyber and information risk profiles including the risk register and the management of risk mitigation strategies and projects. You will be required to liaise with members of staff within the business both in person and by email to provide information security guidance and advice where required.
The Person
An experienced Information Security Consultant, a good communicator who excels at delivering excellence is required. You will have a strong Information Security background and ideally be qualified to CISSP or CISM level. You will need to have a practical knowledge and experience in writing and implementing information security strategy, policies and procedures, along with a proven ability to communicate proposals to the business to facilitate the introduction of new/additions to information security systems and processes into the operational environment.
