Electronics Development Technician
To undertake assembly and development testing of the company's products. This will involve developing and using manual and automated test equipment to validate the performance of the electronic modules within products.
Test procedures and results of these tests need to be documented and reported in a clear and concise manner.
Essential
To have served an Electrical/Electronic biased apprenticeship or equivalent.
A good working knowledge and understanding of test, instrumentation and data acquisition equipment used in the electronic, electrical and mechanical fields.
Ability to program microcontrollers with a view to producing semi-automatic test equipment for use in-house.
Desirable
Experience working in an R&D environment as an Electronics Technician.
Experience with Labview or similar graphical programming language to support test equipment built in-house.
Qualifications
Essential
BTEC HND in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent. Experience and background are of consideration as well.
PC literate, good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.

Education to degree level in an electronics based degree
