Supporting the distribution team picking goods and packing items ready for dispatch
Pick large and small client orders and quality check and gift wrap products as needed
Use barcode scanner technology during order picking and locating stock
Maintain the highest quality standards throughout the pick/pack process ensuring client orders are executed in a manner that meets company standards for accuracy, safety, security and productivity
Utilise the 'Box Management' system when dispatching client orders
Rework product as required, International labelling and packaging
Comply with Health & Safety controls and actively work in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines
Work quickly to deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment with a calm and good natured manner
During pick/pack process actively checking products for quality anomalies, visual and physical
Be client focused and ensure order is packaged in a suitable way to ensure it reaches its destination without damage and is presented to enhance the client experience
Have a hands-on approach, happy to be actively involved with all aspects of the distribution process
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area and high standard of housekeeping at all times
Be flexible to work in other departments when the needs of the business require it
Key requirements and skills
Excellent English, both oral and written with a good level of numeracy
Good planning and organisational skills, able to prioritise workload
Reliable and hardworking, self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with good team ethic
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of ERP/SAP is would be an advantage
Previous experience of picking/dispatch in a fast paced environment is preferred
Fit and able to undertake manual handling/bending/lifting and reaching as part of your normal daily duties
Caring and considerate approach to both clients and colleagues alike
Salary ??14,235 per Annum
