Our Client, a leading global communications company is seeking a Senior HR Officer to join their team in Gloucester. Working for a successful company in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will be working under pressure and on your own initiative.

You will be responsible for executing the day to day provision of Employee Relations Services, policies and procedures and proactively supporting your business areas in key projects to drive business success.

The ideal candidate will be driven, confident and adaptable with excellent communication skills. Furthermore, they will be resilient, professional and able to quickly adapt to varying circumstances.

Main responsibilities:

??? Partner with all Management in the group to deliver a value-added HR service in line with the needs and priorities of the business
??? Proactively supporting and developing managers in their approach to employee relation issues
??? Ensuring all policies and procedures are being correctly and effectively implemented
??? Acting as an impartial adjudicator when resolving employee concerns, complaints etc.
??? Establishing and maintaining positive employer-employee relations
??? Coaching Managers through succession plans, workforce development, employee engagement, employee retention and change management projects
??? Supporting Managers with absence management issues including long term absence and occupational health initiatives
??? Partnering with HR colleagues to ensure the implementation of the strategic plans, projects and initiatives to positively add value to the business
??? Designing and delivering management training programmes to promote management ownership of employee relations and professional development initiatives
??? Conducting exit interviews and when necessary assisting with turnover analysis and escalating concerns if appropriate
??? Working cohesively with HR colleagues to implement strategic initiatives/projects to positively add value to the business and its employees
??? Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement to HR activities and where possible strive to resolve discrepancies
??? Supporting the consistent review of all HR policies and practices and implementing changes where necessary

Skills and experience:

??? Fully CIPD qualified
??? Educated to degree level
??? Strong knowledge and experience of employment legislation
??? Excellent understanding of employee relations
??? HR database experience
??? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
??? Flexible approach to working, able to work under pressure in a fast, dynamic and driven environment
??? Ability to make decisions efficiently whilst always acting with HR guidelines
??? Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
??? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
