St Monica Trust provides high-quality, innovative care and support for older and disabled people. We recognise that in our changing society, as care needs increase, managing at home can become more and more difficult for many older people. We also understand that many older people wish to remain living in their own home for as long as possible.

Our Care at Home service delivers tailored support and care to individuals within their own homes, when they need it. We support people with the day-to-day things like: getting up and getting to bed, delivering personal care, helping with meal times, light cleaning duties, changing bed linen and shopping. Companionship is also an important part of our Care at Home service: going out for a walk or perhaps being accompanied to appointments and activities. For some customers more skilled, intuitive involvement is required to assist with more complex needs. Delivering a service that is led by the needs and preferences of our customers, enabling them to continue to live at home, means the roles we offer are varied and interesting. Not to mention of course, at times, challenging.

You'll help customers in their own homes with the day-to-day practical things like getting up, getting to bed and personal care. You'll be required to help customers with administering their medication and, under the direction of the Senior Care at Home Worker, delivering other health-related activities and end of life care. You'll be a person who genuinely cares about our customers, treating them with respect and putting their well-being before anything else
