The company prides its self in providing fit for purpose items to the highest possible qualities. They are currently looking for a Graduate Electronics Design Engineer to join there engineering team.
Job Role
Reporting to the Electronics Design Manager the Graduate Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for electronics design testing and making improvements to existing designs. It is expected that, with time and experience, the focus will move towards design of hardware and embedded software for new products.
Duties
-Product design testing and improvement as a means of the successful candidate learning design for manufacture requirements as well as the full range of products.
-Provision of technical support to Sales, Service, Production, Buying and Quality departments as required.
-Design of hardware and software used within company products and supporting equipment, including the preparation of such records as may be necessary to demonstrate compliance with its associated specification and any relevant standards under the guidance of a Senior Engineer and the Engineering manager.
-Participating in design reviews, audits and testing to ensure that company designs and products comply with specifications and relevant standards.
-Ensuring the availability of design records and documentation and to assist with the production of Sales and Service literature.
-Liaison with suppliers, customers and other departments throughout the company including such visits as may be required both in the UK and overseas.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
