Children's Social Worker | Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
An opportunity for a locum Social Worker to work on an on going contract basis in a long-term children and families team based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Using your experience of working with families in need of support, children on the child protection register and children who are looked after you will work closely with children, young people and their families, other staff within the service function and partner agencies to provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.
This local authority are looking for applicants who share their passion for getting the very best outcomes for children. You will be joining a service who endeavour to find out what it is really like for the children they work with to provide help that really makes an impact. At every stage, with support from your manager you will work to stop the problems that children and their carers face from escalating.
We welcome applications from candidates who are HCPC registered and have recent experience of working within a statutory children and families team, child protection and court work.
