Disability Analyst

Corpore-TTN is currently looking for occupational therapists, physiotherapist, paramedic or registered nurses to join our team. As a disability analyst you will join an established team of health professionals conducting assessments on a daily basis. The role will enable you to utilise your clinical and evidenced based knowledge, interpersonal skills and examination techniques to determine how an individual's activities of daily living are being affected by their disability or impairment.

To become a PIP assessor there is a 4 stage training process which involves: E-learning completed independently, following this there will be an 8 day face to face training course which will also have an assessment at the end. There is then a period where your assessments will be observed by a mentor and you will have intense support until satisfactory grades are achieved.

As a disability analyst your key responsibilities are: To carry out medical examinations and provide medical advice on a person's ability to complete activities of daily living to an acceptable standard. You will be expected to work to productivity and quality targets and respond positively to feedback. You will be expected to complete a minimum of 4 reports per day and produce succinct, accurate and comprehensive reports in plain English to enable the decision making process. There is a clinical support team within Corpore-TTN and there will also be regular support from the Atos clinical team.

Salary

??32,000 with opportunities to develop within the company.

Required

You must have a minimum 2 years post qualification experience.

Adequate IT and typing skills will be required.

Registration and continuous professional development should be maintained in accordance with the requirements of Post Registration and Practice (PREP) standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and build positive working relationships with both medical colleagues and administrative support staff.
