Extra Care Manager
Client details:
Our client, an Extra care Scheme based in Cheltenham is currently recruiting for an Extra Care Manager with a generous starting salary of ??29,250.00
The role:
* Managing extra care residential apartments which provide older and more vulnerable people with high quality homes for them to live in independently
* Assisting in developing the care and support offer, leading the application and allocation processes for the scheme
* Ensure full compliance with all tenants, shared ownership and housing management duties
* Identify through person centred practices the support needs of individual residents living in the scheme
* Attend management meetings as and when required
* Prepare and present performance and other required reports to the limelight management team
* Support the Care team to deliver a high level of support to all customers
* Work with the team and other anchor tenants to ensure the Extra Care scheme is fully integrated into the community
* Support the Centre manager by deputising in their absence
* Engage with the local and wider community to promote Extra Care to potential residents and customers both before and after opening
* Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community
The person:
* Previous experience of managing an Extra Care Scheme
* Experienced in providing service for older people with a variety of support needs, and be keen to promote independence
* Practical work experience underpinned by vocational or academic qualification
* Detailed knowledge of service area and related working systems, equipment and/or software
