Laboratory Technician - Food Science
Ref: 19349
Our client is a large and well-established Food Research, Development and Analytical organisation. They are recruiting for a Laboratory Technicians to work in their food testing laboratory.
Duties for this role will include:
??? Routine analysis of foodstuffs and associated materials using a variety of methods
??? Providing technical support elsewhere in the department as required e.g. sample preparation
??? Basic maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
??? To ensure all aspects of quality are managed according to various standards, including maintaining QC records for tests undertaken
??? General laboratory housekeeping duties
Ideal candidates will possess the following key skills/attributes:
??? Minimum of A Levels in Science subjects (also suitable for scientific graduates)
??? Ability to undertake routine analytical testing with minimum supervision.
??? Previous experience in a laboratory environment is desirable
??? Good organisational skills in managing own workload.
??? Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision.
??? Flexibility to work on a number of tasks and manage priorities.

Location: Gloucestershire
