Software Developer - VB.NET & SQL

What the role involves:

- You will play an integral part in developing our core product range and over time help our products move forward towards the next generation of development tools and languages.
- Working with the middle-tier area of our applications and involved with both business logic and database layer.
- Working directly with other software developers reporting to the technical director in a small but social team.

Essential skills and knowledge:

- VB.NET
- ADO.NET
- MS SQL Server
- OOP
- Working with XML / JSON data
- Working with RESTful services
- Relational database design with a strong appreciation for data integrity
- Experience of handling data in a multi-tier environment
- Experience in application performance analysis and development
- Source Control (GIT)
