Sales Support Administrator - (12 Month FTC) - Cheltenham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Support Administrator to join a Global Manufacturing company based in Cheltenham on a 12 month maternity contract. The successful applicant will join the Technical Sales Support Team which is a very busy and demanding sales environment that is targeted at providing exemplary service to internal and external customers/clients.

This role is primarily to provide support to a team of Sales Engineers within the UK, dealing with telephone enquiries and quotation requests.

Reporting to the Technical Proposals Team Leader, your main duties will include (but not exclusively):

* To proactively work with the Sales Engineer group to provide administrative support to include order follow up, price & delivery information, recording and handling of messages
* Pre-qualify incoming Sales Engineer requests
* Pro-actively use the CRM system to resolve issues and implement actions
* Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues by phone and in writing
* Facilitate the selling process from enquiry to supply and invoice

The successful candidate should possess good communications skills both verbally and written and have good organisational and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
