Our client is a leading animal health company with an excellent reputation in the veterinary industry. They offer a range of premium veterinary products and are going through a period of organic growth.

We are currently working in partnership with them to recruit either a commercially-minded Vet Nurse, or an experienced sales person with an interest in the veterinary industry. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing and developing short and long term customer relationships across the region. The region includes TR, PL, EX, TQ, TA, BA, BS, SN, NP, CF, GY and JE, postcodes and you will need to live in one of these. If you are located in TA, BA or BS postcodes it would be ideal.

You will work within the south western area to meet monthly and longer term sales targets by increasing spend per customer and by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. Principle responsibilities include:

Visiting veterinary practices to promote and educate staff & customers on the benefits of company's veterinary products.
Managing and developing existing key accounts, and to build relations, identify and develop new accounts within the territory.
Providing educational support to practices in the form of presentations and CPD events.
Representing the company at veterinary conferences and exhibitions throughout the UK. The successful Territory Manager will ideally be an experienced vet nurse with commercial drive, or an experienced field sales professional with knowledge of the industry. You must be highly motivated and target-driven. You must have the ability to think in a business-minded way and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
