Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager role covering Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol areas.

The role will be home based with frequent travel to their Berkshire head office aswell.

The ideal candidate will have experience in NHS Supply Chain, or Medical, Radiology experience.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is tasked with sales growth.

The BDM will lead complex multi-level, multi-stakeholder managed equipment or solutions sales projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team including the bid team, business line managers, technology, commercial and operations teams to deliver winning sales strategies.

The Role

* Discover, develop, manage and close the new business opportunities within a specified area, areas or customer group.
* Work with the customer facing and support teams to maintain and develop customer relationships within a specified area, areas or customer group.
* Build an extensive understanding of the Managed Equipment Services markets including but not limited to diagnostic imaging, cardiology, endoscopy, and theatres.
* Develop, monitor and report on new business opportunities
* Develop all aspects of major bids as part of a complex solutions sales process
* Develop bid strategies that balance customer and company value
* Develop and contribute to the production of high quality bids and proposals
* Lead the presentation of proposals and bids internally and externally
* Grow customer engagement and share of spend over time

The Person

* Previous experience working in a Business Development role
* Experience within Radiology, Medical, NHS supply chain ideally
* Must be a driver
* Excellent communication skills
