PLM Architect (Aerospace/Defence)

??500 - ??550 per day - Immediate start - 6 months (highly probable to be extended)
PLM Architect required for an immediately available contract position with a class leading Aerospace company, renowned for their high-quality products. The company are a specialist manufacturer of components and assemblies for aero structures.
The ideal candidate will have PLM architecture experience within a product development environment and Architectural experience, being able to design solutions with Windchill (PTC), Teamcentre (Siemens) or Enovia (Dassault Systems). You will ideally be a PLM Architect who has recent strong experience of detailed PLMs within architecture, implementation and operational areas.
In the role you will carry out; definition and scoping of PLM/PDLM programme, conduct existing process and tools assessment, scope and plan the work (estimate effort, skills, cost, pre-requisites etc.), business process analysis, author, construct and assess quality of key architectural deliverables, identify deliverables required to define the standard solution, create system design specifications, etc.
PLM Architect Role:
* Architect and design solutions for PLM solutions (Teamcenter or Windchill skills)
* Conduct existing process and tools assessment
* Scope and plan the work (estimate effort, skills, cost, pre-requisites etc.)
* Business process analysis
* Author, construct and assess quality of key architectural deliverables
Ideal PLM Architect:
* Detailed PLM experience
* Knowledge of system engineering techniques
* PLM architecture experience within a product development environment
