Nursery Practitioner

Buttercups Day Nursery Ltd is a small private day nursery situated in Church Crookham on the outskirts of Fleet, Hampshire.

We cater for a maximum of 29 children between 3mths – 5 yrs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioner to join our small friendly team.

You will be working alongside our existing team within our 3mths to 2 yr old age group, providing a high standard of care and education for our youngest children. You will take on the role of Key Person to a group of children, with responsibility for planning and implementing learning experiences to promote each individual child’s development, enabling them to reach their full potential. 

Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of Health and Safety with good communication skills both verbal and written to liaise with children, staff and parents.

Relevant experience:

Essential experience:

• Experience in an early years setting
• Experience of working with young children
• Knowledge of the keyworker system and record keeping

Desirable experience:

• Experience of a work place environment
