Our company client is a widely known organisation who are actively seeking to recruit a driven and tenacious Finance Project Manager to join their thriving team based in Southampton. The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of Finance projects and embed processes into our business as usual environment. Major accountabilities will cover:

* Monitor and track project deliverables, manage and prioritise workload of Finance project resource.
* Regular status reporting ensuring clear and consistent updates are provided on overall project status.
* Maintain project and resource plans, risk and issue logs.
* Input to and review of project documentation including Test Strategies, Implementation plans and Operating Models.
* Work as part of a wider project delivery team, communicating progress on deliverables and managing stakeholders as required.
* Understand impact of proposed changes on business areas and processes within Finance.
* Training and handover of completed processes to BAU team.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the Project/Finance (including third party suppliers).

Background and skills required for this job:

* Experience in working with the Financial Services sector.
* Experience of project and change activity within a Finance team.
* Developed depth and breadth of expertise within a similar reporting environment.
* Proven experience in developing reporting processes/ process improvement activity.
* Excellent communication skills and Stakeholder management.
* Proven experience of building and maintain positive working relationships.
