Our company client is an European leader within the Financial Services Industry who are currently seeking to recruit a driven and highly skilled Travel Procurement professional to join their thriving team based in Central London. The successful applicant will help develop new innovative sourcing strategies and review the spend across the company within Travel. The job holder will be also leading the implementation and integration of new travel systems and programmes throughout the wider business while acting as a Partner to the business providing specialist knowledge and support in the field of Travel Procurement. This is an exciting opportunity for career progression.

Main duties for this position will involve as follows:

* Lead the implementation and integration of new travel systems.
* Lead management of the commercial relationships with suppliers, working with procurement and the wider business
* Liaise with the Global travel director and develop new innovative sourcing strategies aligned with the company's strategy
* Supplier relationship management and Supplier performance reviews
* Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate dialogue regarding contractual performance.
* Ensure Procurement is engaged and governance is followed for new spend and/or where legal terms are changed under the contract.

Qualifications and experience required:

* CIPS or undertake.
* Private Sector experience, preferably Financial Services or Travel Industry
* Minimum 3+ years in a procurement or similar role
* Meticulous planner with a close eye for detail
* Proficient in contract terminology and ability to work with Legal department on contracts
* Experience within Travel Procurement
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
