JOB TITLE: Technical Customer Service Assistant

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

THE COMPANY: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Customer Service Assistant with our client based in Northampton. Our client has over 90 years' experience within the heating and ventilation industry and are experts in the design, manufacture, and supply of innovative 'Total Heating and Ventilation Home Comfort Solutions' to the UK market.

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Technical Services Manager the Technical Customer Service Assistant will provide technical support and advice about our products to installation companies and householders and ensure efficient use of engineers, along with administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Customer Service Assistant to include:-

• To support the Technical Services Manager
• To respond to e-mail and telephone queries
• To take an active part in company projects
• To process invoice instructions to accounts department
• Planning of service work
• To maintain filing system and administration tasks
• To arrange engineers spare parts

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will be computer literate. Have a good general knowledge of heating construction/operation. They will have a reasonable understanding of technical drawings and/or electrical wiring diagrams. The successful candidate will bring their logical approach to fault finding and their organisational skills to the position. Full training will be given on our products.

Key experience essential for the role of Technical Customer Service Assistant based in Northampton:

• Must live within a commutable distance of Northampton
• Will be computer literate
• Ideally technically minded with a logical approach to life
• Will have excellent customer service skills and ideally previous experience on the telephone
• Ideally able to interpret technical drawings and/or electrical wiring diagrams or quick to learn these skills
