LOCATION: Wellingborough, Northants but will be travelling around Milton Keynes and surrounding areas

JOB TITLE: Commercial Service and Breakdown Engineer

SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP32,760 per annum

WORKING HOURS: Full time position - must be flexible and willing to work overtime

THE ROLE: As a Commercial Service and Breakdown Engineer your main purpose will be to install and maintain gas commercial heating systems. Our clients' engineers cover Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and most Northamptonshire areas.

Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Service and Breakdown Engineer to include:-

• To carry out service and breakdown work on heating systems for various schools, factories, councils, care homes and more.
• To display a professional image to maintain the company's respected reputation.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Communicate with the customer if any issues arise whilst on site with reference to the nature of any problems they may have.
• Manage and inspect tools prior to use
• Complete all necessary paperwork to satisfy regulations and internal quality systems

THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Commercial Service and Breakdown Engineer you will be ACS certificated and ideally have previous experience as working as a heating engineer, either domestic (supervised) or commercial. The client is willing to train the right candidate and aid them in progressing from the domestic sector in to the commercial sector. The successful applicant will be flexible, hardworking and hold excellent communication skills.

An experienced Commercial Service and Breakdown Engineer will have a distinct advantage which will be reflected with an attractive salary package. There are also Senior Engineer positions available for the right candidate.

Key experience essential for the role of Commercial Service and Breakdown Engineer:

• Must live within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes or Bedfordshire/ Northamptonshire areas.
• ACS Certification.
• Previous experience in either Domestic or Commercial heating installations/maintenance
• Full UK driving Licence
• Good written and verbal skills
