Progress Housing Group is looking to appoint a Legal Executive to join their in-house Legal and Governance team. Working under the general direction of the Executive Director (Legal), the successful candidate will be qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) with experience in all aspects of non-contentious property law. Experience within the housing sector and line management of staff will be an advantage for this position. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all property transactions within the team and will also liaise with external solicitors on the Group’s legal panel.
Desirable Requirements: Experience of managing a mixed property case load, demonstrable experience of working within a legal environment, ability to deputise and advice at a senior level, excellent drafting, technical knowledge and accuracy skills, good IT skills (Excel, Word, Adobe) and the ability to learn and use new IT systems.
