Knitting Operatives

This leading supplier of engineered textile solutions has opportunities for Knitting Operatives to join the Knitting Division on a 3 shift basis.

The purpose of this role is to operate and maintain textile manufacturing processes within a lean manufacturing environment, complying with relevant policies procedures.

Key responsibilities for this role include operating machinery to a production plan to the required standard as set out in departmental documentation and procedures, to include:

- SOPs;
- Technical information;
- Training structure; and
- Standard Work.

Operators are expected to comply with all HS&E and quality requirements within the department.

The successful applicant will have the ability to demonstrate initiative; to work as part of a team; and be self-motivated.

You will be expected to function and operate within a 5S manufacturing cell environment, with full participation and involvement in every aspect. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are also essential.

You will be required to demonstrate good hand/eye dexterity, numeracy and literacy skills. A consistent eye for attention to detail is critical.
