Arts & Craft Tutor (Casual)

£17.35 per hour

(Hourly rate includes planning, preparation and administration)

We require an Arts & Crafts Tutor to provide creative, interesting and stimulating activities to our clients who are living with mild to moderate dementia.

Experience of delivering Arts & Crafts is essential. You are required to have a minimum NVQ (or equivalent) Level 3 qualification in Arts & Crafts as well as a teaching qualification (you can be working towards one), such as the Level 3 Award in Education & Training.

ICT Tutor (Casual)

£17.35 per hour

Age UK Sunderland is looking to recruit a qualified sessional ICT Tutor to teach and support older people with little or no previous knowledge of using ICT technology to help them to become digitally included.

Experience of delivering ICT is essential. You are required to have a minimum NVQ (or equivalent) Level 3 qualification in ICT as well as an appropriate adult teaching or lifelong learning qualification at minimum Level 4 (e.g. Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You must also hold a minimum qualification at Level 2 in English and maths. 

Tai Chi and Yoga Instructor (Casual)

£17.35 per hour

(Hourly rate includes planning, preparation and administration)

Age UK Sunderland is looking to recruit a qualified sessional Tai Chi & Yoga Instructor to deliver group sessions to people 50 years of age and over.

Experience of delivering Tai Chi and Yoga is essential, experience of delivering Pilates, exercise to dance and seated exercise is desirable. You are required to have an appropriate, NVQ (or equivalent) Level 3 instructor qualification in Tai Chi and/or Yoga, a teaching qualification is desirable such as the Level 3 Award in Education & Training.
