Our client's Housing Trust is a 'not-for-profit' Registered Social Landlord. They provide affordable housing for people in Aylesbury and the surrounding villages in the Vale, housing over 15,000 people living and working in the area. With a growing portfolio of properties, an annual turnover of £39 million, and over 220 employees, they aim to make a significant social and economic contribution to life in the Vale of Aylesbury.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for 2 experienced Operative Labourers in the Property Services Team.

In this key role you will carry out a range of labouring tasks in occupied and empty properties including removal of rubbish, building cleaning, dismantling and demolishing, boarding up and removal of boarding, tiling, paving, fence erection and repairs, garden clearance, gardening works, minor carpentry, plumbing, plastering, brickwork and decorating repairs.

The successful candidate must have

• Good level of physical fitness, including the ability to lift, work at heights and in differing conditions
• A valid Driving Licence

And have

• Substantial labouring experience in Repair & Maintenance works both in occupied and unoccupied properties.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• You will also have good interpersonal skills with a customer focused outlook and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
