Due to internal promotions, a trainee in financial services support is required to join a highly successful firm of Chartered Financial Planners in Tunbridge Wells.

You will be offered all of the training, development and support needed, initially to integrate into their client service team and eventually to become a Trainee Paraplanner. Depending on your career aspirations, this role can provide the ideal long term training opportunity to become a qualified financial planner.

Your initial responsibilities include providing a high standard of support to our Client Services Manager by assisting with the administrative and back office tasks required to meet the needs of clients of a busy Independent Financial Advice practice. You will also work with our Business Development team to assist in bringing to fruition new business opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will be ambitious, keen to embrace taking and passing professional qualifications and an effective communicator with a strong focus on client service. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn and desire to become part of this friendly, efficient client focused team.

They will provide full financial support and some study time, but the applicant must be prepared to study in their own time to achieve required professional qualifications.


- To learn all aspects of the administrative support required to provide first class client service
- To develop client service skills commensurate with the standards required
- Learn all aspects of their back office systems, products and providers
- Take on specific projects to support new opportunities
- Provide administrative and general support to the Business Development Team


- Educated to at least A Level standard
- Some experience and knowledge of financial services and administration desired but not essential
- Must be quick and keen to learn new skills and develop knowledge
- It is essential that you are willing to study and pass all modules leading to the Diploma in Financial Planning
- Develop excellent client service and communication skills
