A Systems and Operations Manager is required to join one of the largest and most respected direct response companies in the world, with distribution in 61 countries.

Reporting to the Systems & Operations Director this role forms part of the services delivery function for Europe. The team focuses on projects that deliver system enhancements and business process improvements. The Systems & Operations Manager will be primarily responsible for managing system partners to maximise the value from existing relationships, as well as working within the business to ensure the benefits of IT and business improvement projects are delivered on time, on budget and the result is fit for purpose.

As a Systems & Operations Manager you should have strong project management and business analysis skills, combined with experience of working on multiple multi-faceted projects at any one time. There will be a large degree of autonomy in this role, but you will need to be able to work effectively both on your own and within a wider team.

Key accountabilities:

- Robust project management experience, preferably with a bias towards IT/Operations/ Marketing projects.
- Experience of managing multiple projects.
- Experience of managing multiple system vendors.
- The ability to plan and estimate high level implementation plans.
- Experience of standard change delivery processes such as PRINCE2 and Agile.
- Experience of E-commerce, Order Management and Warehouse systems and processes.
- Experience of launching and developing websites and integrations to other systems.
- Experience of on-boarding new systems and processes coupled with the ability to train other teams in using and developing systems functionality.

You should also have:

- Strong interaction skills and be able to empathise with colleagues from different countries.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to translate technical information to business users and vice versa.
- Good presentations skills.
- Be self-motivated, calm under pressure and whilst meeting tight deadlines.
- An interest in developing and learning new skills.
- Experience of User Acceptance Testing process management.
- European languages would be an advantage, but not essential.
