Primary School Teacher
Congleton Grows Its Own Teachers!
Thinking of becoming a Primary School Teacher???
Congleton education Community Partnership (CeCP) are proud to announce that after a successful first year of School Direct, they are recruiting a further 12 associate teachers for 2017/18. They continue to work with Staffordshire University providing a bespoke programme to meet the individual needs of the associate teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to become a primary school teacher as the programme is designed so that we guarantee that students are placed within at least 2 of the cluster primary schools during their PGCE year. The strength of the Partnership enables us to work closely together and to create a tailored experience to ensure the needs of the associate teachers are fully met. It is in the unique position to offer a diverse experience across the 12 primary schools and will play a leading role in creating outstanding teachers for the future.
Sue Aston, Headteacher at Mossley CE Primary School, said “It’s brilliant to have the opportunity to train our future teaching workforce within our own Congleton schools. We can provide a nurturing experience bespoke to our associate teachers and help them to flourish within the Teaching profession. We are so pleased to be linked to the high quality work of Staffordshire University for a second year running and as a learning community we grow from strength to strength”.
The children and staff in all of the schools are looking forward to continuing the journey as Congleton.
