Site Surveyor

Excellent opportunity for a site surveyor to join our very well established client in Witham based company. Your role as site surveyor will be visiting sites nationwide to obtain perimeter sizes and details of existing window openings and preparing sites specific risk assessments for the survey. As site surveyor, you will conduct site inspections, liaise with both commercial and operations teams and conduct site inspections. To be considered for this role you need to possess experience of working within a construction environment ideally within surveying, be self-motivated and able to work to deadlines. The Role Visiting sites nationwide and some overnight stays.Preparation of site specific risk assessments for both the survey and to assist in the operational delivery of the workAccurate transfer of survey data to the drawing officeObtaining site information and feeding this back to the operations team to assist in planning and site operationsResponsible for obtaining the perimeter sizes and details of existing window openings.Conducting site inspections to establish the building material and construction behind the framesLiaising with both the Commercial and Operations teams to ensure the most suitable solution to the customer requirementsProblem solving and solution finding on site The Person Self-motivated as you will be working to time deadlines set by contractual commitmentExperience of working in a construction environment is preferable but not essential as full training will be given, including CSCS card enrolment if required.A working knowledge of general Microsoft office products such as Outlook (Email), Word and ExcelHappy to work away from home occasionally and overnight staysA full clean driver's licence is required and a company vehicle will be provided on completion of full training.Able to work on own initiativePrevious experience as a surveyorMust possess good attention to detailMotivated and a strong team player Benefits to you Salary dependant on experiencePositive working environmentFantastic company ethosFree parking If you have not heard back from us within 10 days your application has been unsuccessful.
