Performance Measurement Analyst

Job Title: Performance Measurement Analyst Location: Peterborough Salary: 25-28K Our client in Peterborough are looking for a Performance Measurement Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Purpose: Develop and drive all site required KPI's on behalf of all departmentsEstablish root causes to good and bad measurementsShare with all areas and departments of the operation this data to drive improvement and effectively facilitate the ability to changeIn summary to provide the site with data on performance or future demands in order for fast and informed decisions to be madeTasked with supporting the Management Team in understanding and developing a suite of supply chain and distribution KPI'sWork closely with the Finance, Production and IT Teams across the business to extract accurate date to support the operational and developing needs of the Logistics and Supply Chain functionSupport key areas Supply Chain activity providing regular updates, sharing analysis and bench marking commercial quotes and tender submissions to the senior management team up to and including Director levelProduce, analyse, interpret and report on service performance, strategy and processes; identify and produce insights, trends, opportunities for change and improvement, facilitating and development of action plans and improvement strategies across the function. Main Duties: Exceptional IT skills, Microsoft Excel and other office applications, inc Access database and SQL reporting tools or similar toolsOwn and develop an all-encompassing KPI dashboard that can be used by all departments to drive performanceEnsure that all KPI dashboard data is tailored to be able to be used in the monthly site financial reviewEnsure all site KPI data is tracked at summary level, for all areas, showing performance trends and presenting these results to the senior management team at agreed datesChallenge and look to progress KPI's with senior team to provide a continuous improvement culture on siteDevelop reporting for any future business data requirementsEstablish root causes from any data compiled with a hands on approach working with the team at all levels in order to provide informed and accurate information to senior team.Present data as required in PowerPoint of similar format for site presentationsInterface between operational and financial activity sense checking data derived from differing systemsPlay a major role in coordinating the supply chain and logistics interest in the development of the new ERP system and manage to input and output flow worksWork closely with external vendors to validate and present data in an agreed format.Undertake medium and long term project work with a varying degree of complexity and be able to adhere to business time linesAble to evaluate tender documents and produce impartial recommendationsDevelop all documents that record, track and control site activity operationally from so that the team can use, own and maintain data/reports once in placeTake part in operational meetings as requiredDesign flow charts for any projects or processes as requiredProvide tailor data as requested by senior management on any ongoing, required topics. Support the site Financial Controller where necessary
