Opertional Jetting Team Leader
and Schedulers who are responsible for reacting to pollution incidents on the sewer network and providing high quality investigate investigations into sewer related incidents.The role is to ensure resources respond, resolve and investigate pollution incidents on the sewerage network, whilst working closely with the wider waste water services team including AMEY. This team will be required to respond in periods of escalation to support our Service Partners AMEY deliver front line jetting activities.Managing an operational team you will support and embrace both reactive and proactive ways of working to reduce repeat pollution and flooding incidents whilst contributing to the delivery of SIM target. You will monitor the progression of pollution investigations, operational catchment jobs and proactive works whilst having to balance the support required for front line customer service jetting operations during escalation events.What skills are we looking for ?As an Operational Jetting Team Leader you will be required to take responsibility for the Operational Jetting Team to understand the Health & Safety requirements of the jetting operations, ensure the team work to the highest standards and challenge others where appropriate. To embedding a strong performance management and continuous improvement culture within a team of technicians who response, resolve, report and investigate network related issues.You will be required to carry out root cause analysis on all serious incidents in your area to ensure learning is captured, shared, acted upon and embedded. Developing and building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is a must in order to effectively ensure problem resolution and incident prevention within your area.What skills are we looking for:Essentially you will be passionate about customer service improvement with experience of understanding the performance commitments and targets for the sewerage network, SIM and Pollution with the ability to align your team's role within a function and implement plans to deliver the outputs.You will have the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with the ability to be proactive and take ownership of issues, think through problems and work with others to solve them.Experience of supporting and embedding change, the ability to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours is also essential.
