Responsibilities:We have an exciting opportunity to join our Water Recycling team as a Coastal Catchment Manager for Lincolnshire and West Norfolk, Reporting to the Coastal Water Protection Manager you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the coastal water strategy. The Coastal Catchment Manager will play an active role in working collaboratively with external stakeholders such as Local Authorities, The Environment Agency, NGOs, pressure groups and communities to bring about water quality improvements at the bathing waters within their area. Through using corporate data, collaborative working with third parties and liaison with Water Recycling Operations, you will ensure that all water quality failures at a bathing water are fully investigated and that where appropriate needs and solutions are delivered. The Coastal Catchment Manager will act as the first point of contact for any external enquiries and will ensure that any new assets found to be of significance to coastal waters are included within our monitoring strategy. You will ensure that all investigations to establish the cause of pollution at the bathing and shellfish waters within their area are effectively delivered. This will include the delivery of the investigations identified in the AMP 6 programme. The role will require working closely with contractors and external specialists as well as with Water Recycling Operations and organisation such as the Environment Agency, Local Authorities, private businesses and local interest groups. Requirements:Ideally degree educated, you will already have a good understanding of Water Recycling Operations and have the ability to facilitate internal and external stakeholder meetings. As this is a people focused role, strong communication skills are required both verbal and written along with excellent organisational and data management skills. Experience of team management is essential as is a proven ability to work collaboratively with external stakeholders. This role may require you to work out of hours; therefore a degree of flexibility is required. You must have a driving licence. A company car will come a part of this role.
