Forklift Driver on a Temp to Perm basis

Our client based in north Milton Keynes is looking for dedicated warehouse staff that can use forklifts. This role would suit anyone with current licence or someone with an in house or expired licence as the client is prepare to put the suitable candidates through refreshers. Working Monday to Friday 11:00-20:00 shift, overtime available for those interested This role will involve: Working as part of a team in a busy distribution environment involving loading and unloading of vehicles, both side and rear loading. Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods Ensuring goods received are of accurate quantity, type and acceptable condition Ensure all customer documentation (i.e. PODs, goods received notes) are correctly signed for. Ensuring warehouse environment is clean and hazard free ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES Changing gas bottles on trucks as required Daily refuelling batteries with deionised water Daily safety checks on Manual Handling Equipment KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS FTL licence holder; CANDIDATES WITH IN HOUSE OR EXPIRED LICENSES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY!!
