Web Analyst - Ecommerce London GBP50,000 This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Web Analyst for a leading ecommerce website. Working within the Digital Product Group, you will be the teams expert in Google Analytics to provide insight for the whole business. Working closely with Product, Development, Customer Insight, Optimisation and Marketing, the role will help evangelise web analytics across the business. Your role will be critical in ensuring they provide relevant insight to make the right decisions on product performance and help the product team to effectively prioritise improvements to site experience. THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the marketing team and external agencies to analyse online customer behaviour and identify how to enhance the user experience.Creating technical tagging specification for new site features.The aim is for people not to just sign up, but to continually log in, use the site and renew their subscriptions.Develop and maintain the test and learn plan with the product managers, ensuring that all online tests and analysis are set-up correctly and are statistically robust.Champion a testing and measuring culture, utilising all available data to help identify opportunities for improvement in customer experience.Work closely with development teams to improve data collection methods and ensure all the data is accurate.Help to develop acquisition strategies, for better targeting of customers and streamline the passage onto the site. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Advanced working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.Experience of implementing and carrying out testing strategies using an AB/MVT tool.Knowledge of technical web tools such as; HTML and JavaScript, upskilling in these areas will also be available.The ability to articulate complex data insights to non-technical, senior stakeholdersKnowledge of SQL would be ideal.
