IFA Sales BDM - 'at retirement' products

Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager role involves selling 'at retirement' products to Financial Advisors throughout the East Midlands. You will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing Advisors within your area and the day to day sales account management of specific intermediaries. Manage day-to-day relationships with IFA clients, developing a deep understanding of their business and long-term strategiesEngage Financial Advisors by promoting a range of 'at retirement' products favourably in order to generate sales.Identify, develop and maintain a network of appropriate contacts including new business acquisitionFollow a pre-defined sales process to ensure successful delivery of targetsSell within compliance and industry regulation guidelinesTrain and coach the Advisors that you contact to enable a full understanding of the sales propositionActively participate in regular client reviews to ensure delivery of agreed sales targets Qualifications: Ideally you will be minimum CF1 to CF5 qualified and working towards Level 4 diploma. You will possess excellent presentation and organisational skills and be highly pro-active. You should be motivated by targets and have excellent listening and questioning skills. With high personal energy and a passion for selling you will be resilient and able to overcome setbacks. You will have the ability to interpret data and results and identify actions accordingly. You will have a proven track record within a financial services sales environment and in meeting sales targets. You will be resilient, not fazed by initial rejections and able to overcome setbacks. A full UK driving licence is essential (with no more than 6 points or previous bans) as the package for this role includes a company car.
