Project Engineer
Our Client is a well established leader in the provision of systems for power transmission and distribution to include HV cable applications for the construction and infrastructure sectors. They are seeking a Project Engineer with experience in HV cable installation and Civils projects. The right candidate will be working on several projects within a designated region, supervising a range of installation activities and maintenance services, reporting to the Area Manager.

Competitive package to include a company car, private medical insurance, health plan and Company pension scheme. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to increase their salaries with overtime for weekend working, overnight stay allowances and call out payments when required.
Key Responsibilities
??Actively monitoring civil engineering activities and on site installation staff.
??Ensuring compliance to safety, environmental, quality and security procedures. Promote a culture of safety, quality and environmental best practice at all times.
??Requisition and control project materials.
??Identifying and promoting commercial opportunities.
??Ensuring targets and key milestones are met all works are carried out safely to company procedure, achieving scope, programme and budget.
Qualifications/Experience
??HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline is preferable
??Previous experience within Civils/Utility projects, National Grid experience preferred.
??A good understanding of HV cable systems ( ??Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS project
??Proven people management skills and an ability to work unsupervised.
??Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
??Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
??A driving license is essential
