Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst - BristolA leading business in the financial services / insurance sector is urgently recruiting for a Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to join their team based in the centre of Bristol. You will be responsible for identifying and eliciting requirements from the wider business related to development of their internal systems, liaising with the development team to ensure system development meets requirements, and guiding the process from development through to delivery.Key responsibilities of this Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst role include:- Acting as a first point of contact for the business to determine their requirements with respect to systems and business applications- Understanding and refining requirements to turn them into technical solutions for the development team- Overseeing the full development lifecycle - Writing user stories- Tracking team and development progress- Ensuring solutions meet requirements and are adequately tested (including building test plans)- Track quality and triage defects for the teamTo be suitable you will have experience of the systems development process, with significant experience of systems analysis. You should have a proven track record of delivering major software projects and will ideally have worked with a variety of development methodologies (e.g. Agile). Experience within the financial services, insurance, or other professional services would be beneficial.
