The Chief Information Officer is building a team to bring together raw data from across the business and outside sources and transform it into meaningful and useful information for supporting decision-making. We're looking for a highly-motivated Analyst to join our team at Swiis UK, one of the leading providers of independent fostering services, and health and social care services in the UK. In this role you will: work closely with the CIO to understand the data and information needs of the business, report on and analyse data from multiple sources to provide information that will support business decisions, help ensure the information recorded in, and obtained from our information systems is of a consistently high quality. You will have the opportunity to shape the team and how we work, working closely with the CIO and BI development staff to build an industry leading business information service.Key duties and responsibilities Analyse and shape data into meaningful business information, using data visualisation and other analytical techniques to present clear, accurate and concise insights into our business and the environment we work in.Engage with colleagues throughout the business, from front line staff to senior managers, to understand how business intelligence can help us achieve our goals.Work alongside BI developers to design information reporting structures that will help provide the information and insights we need.Understand business processes, mapping and designing processes to identify KPIs and important data flows that BI could help influence and improve.Provide a responsive and discreet service, producing ad hoc information from our databases and other data stores, including writing T-SQL queries.Promote the use of BI throughout the business as a way to help fulfil our objectives.Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring that the information we provide is accurate and up to date. Essential Qualifications and Attributes Previous experience working in a BI or data analytics roleExperience with Microsoft Power BI and Power View to create data visualisations and dashboards.Excellent attention to detail, with a strong desire to produce high quality work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to spot patterns and trends, and discern real world meaning and business context. Desirable Qualifications and Attributes Educated to degree level in a relevant field, or with significant experience.Social Care or Foster Care industry knowledge and experience (not essential)Experience with other data visualisation tools, such as Tableau or Qlik About us At Swiis, we believe that good and great are two entirely different things.
