Process Engineer

The Role Your main responsibilities will include: Liaising with customers regarding technical and status queries on project related testingDeveloping and conducting specialist laboratory operationsDesigning and building apparatus necessary to conduct relevant testsEnsuring maintenance of the laboratory, calibration controls and their accompanying recordsPerforming contract reviews in accordance with Exova System ProceduresReviewing technical standards and writing & reviewing procedures based on standardsOwning and managing testing projects including (but not limited to) booking in, assessing resource requirements and time plansCreating quotations based on pricing spreadsheetAuthorised signatory for test certificates and ensuring reports are correct and comply with UKAS/Nadcap requirements Who are we looking for? As a successful candidate you will be educated to degree level in an appropriate Engineering/Scientific discipline as well as having significant experience in a related field of expertise with experience of technical reporting. You will be computer literate in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and CAD. Practical ability in designing and building frames/jigs/fixtures is highly beneficial for the position as well as knowledge of UKAS/ISO 17025/Nadcap quality systems. What are we looking for?
