We are actively looking for Support Workers to provide care and support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.Elmsmead is a large Victorian building with lovely original features, located in the centre of Taunton with access to all different locations via train, car or bus. We are also very close to Junction 25 off the M5!Here, we support people with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.As a support worker at Elmsmead you will contribute to delivering great person centred care to all the people we support through motivation and empowerment, encouraging a productive quality of life and enabling them to fulfil their wishes.It's a great opportunity to support people in some of their favourite things and trying out new opportunities means it rarely feels like you're actually doing work! These include horse riding, attending sensory activities, having days out, helping out at voyages very own wildlife project and visiting local places of interest.
