Trade Business Coordinator The Role: Permanent Location: Gloucester Salary: up to 25,000PA Principle duties & responsibilities. Pricing & Commercial Management. Take ownership of the trade price list by keeping it up to date and communicating it to all internal and external customers as appropriate.Keep all customer-segment price lists up-to-date and available where stakeholders require them.Assist other departments with queries relating to prices and develop systems to aid other departments to establish correct pricing at time of order.Authorise ASM pricing requests in the absence of the TSD / RSM.Own the quality of data and accuracy of all rebate agreements and commercial support documents making sure that they are up to date and authorised by stakeholders. Forecasting & Reporting. Assist the TSD by proving the product forecast based on sales trends and opportunity reports.Develop and create monthly sales reports on KPI's as agreed with TSD.Support finance team by controlling trading terms documentation. Provide monthly sell out data. Support new account opening process. Validate all debit notes prior to TSD sign off. Notify finance of incorrect sales data and help prove the validity and quality of Phocas sales data. Management of Customer Relationship Management system. Take control of the customer relationship management system by: setting up accounts on CRM. Controlling the quality of data as input by the team. Authorising workflow requests. Creating reports as required by the team. Providing KPI reporting to the TSD. Streamlining the system to make it more efficient and useful to all users. Keep the system up to date with accurate product and documentation data. Identifying and recommending good practice for the team. Tactical marketing. Assisting the marketing team in their activities including exhibitions and promotional campaigns. Support for TSD.To assist the TSD by preparing for monthly business reviews with ASMs by providing reports on KPI's and sales results.Provide any assistance to help the technical department and ASMs in order to make sure test reports are logged and followed up where necessary. Report to the TSD on any areas of concern.Provide assistance to the Regional Sales Managers with budgets, strategy, planning and forecasting when required and fully completing in an accurate and timely manner all reports, letters and specifications.Liaise with operations to quickly identify slow-moving stock and make recommendations to the TSD in order to mitigate the problem. Likely activities would be an adjustment to the forecast and or a product promotion.To assist The Trade Sales Director in developing new initiatives for business growth.The role will also provide strong assistance to the product managers on a bidirectional basis to provide the PM's with any data that they require in particular relating to market trends, sales data, pricing and product variant information. This will also include the administration of "PIP" forms under the direction of the TSD. Support for Key accounts. Frontline support will be given to national accounts and buying group's by providing them with up-to-date information both on an active and reactive basis.Support the CPD process by administrating certificates and managing follow-up campaigns to attendees. Support for Trade Sales Team. Manage project leads for the team by sourcing projects from our databases, qualifying them and populating CRM for the relevant ASMs to follow up. Report on effectiveness of this activity. Additional information will be provided to the ASMs on an ad hoc basis as required.Support ASM in managing the specifications within relevant geographical areas.To support the Trade Sales Director in new product development within market sectors as requested. General duties, Skills, responsibilities & key performance indicators. Keep up to date with product knowledge, demonstrated by passing of periodical product technical tests.Any other duties as requested by your line manager. Prepare quotations & tenders effectively & within set timescales.Help TSD to accurately forecast sales to facilitate for effective stock control.Attend meetings with clients & colleagues as required.Demonstrate effective building of client relationships.Implement promotions within specified boundaries & report on effectiveness.Be proficient at operating Microsoft Excel, Word, Phocas and Outlook.Have enough computer literacy to operate a CRM system as used by the company.
